Sandkuehler on Galicia (in U. Herbert, p.127n.): as of Sep '42 there were 14,366 Reich Germans in Galicia. Of these, 2,000 participated in the Jewish extermination. In addition there were eventually 4,000 Ukrainian perpetrators in the region in total.

Has anyone done a similar calculation in other regions?

I visited Buchenwald sometime ago, what makes it interesting is that the layout of the building of the crematory is very similiar to the layout of alleged Krema II and III of Birkenau.

The buchenwald is considerably smaller and the chimney is simply attached to the back of the building rather than having a seperate mini-wing.
