I may have called you an antisemite, or written that something you wrote was antisemitic, or something, frankly I can't recall. And of course I never said you said I said you were stupid. I asked if I had, because I didn't think I had, or if the question was asked ironically.
I don't think we were discussing the definition of democracy but the traditions of modern liberal democracies, which I called "democratic traditions." A definition of democracy which doesn't draw in the accumulated traditions doesn't speak to the larger proposition.
