Though Revisionism is known for its talent to push its own level further below, it's seems too weird even for most Revisionists. On the other hand, they face some inconvinient evidence with the aerial pictures of the Birkenau complex and would love to dismiss the pictures as doctored (instinctively). Maybe it's this dilemma which makes them silent.

Your problem ist there is no real reason for Revisionism to even consider your hypothesis.. Of course, they wouldn't be unsatisified if it could be proven the basement did not exist as it makes their holiest of the holy "no gassing" dogma true. But in their opinion, this can be achieved by a little bit less rabid and brute methods than crematoria denial, i.e.chemical and archeological arguments, documentary evidence and criticism of testimional evidence rejecting the use of the basement as homicidal gas-chamber. And they may be reminded of Mattogno's words that denying the crematoria "is the most impertinent denial of obvious facts I've ever seen. Not even the most bone-headed enemies of Revisionism are on such a low level. "Research" on this level fatally boosts the accusation of Deborah Lipstadt who accuses Revisionists of arbitrary methodology."
