Kogon, Der SS-Staat has a lot about this theme, and Sofsky's Order of Terror too, Claudia Taake's Angeklagt: SS-Frauen vor Gericht has something also, and Charles Liblau, Die Kapos von Auschwitz. I guess in most of the camp-books topic is also mentioned, but are there any that have more detailed analysis?
Found this interesting, not seen it yet: Ludewig-Kedmi, Revital : Opfer und Täter zugleich? : Moraldilemmata jüdischer Funktionshäftlinge in der Shoah (judging by the reviews, perhaps too psychologising to my taste).
Filip Müller, Wieslaw Kielar, Borowski, and others have also written quite a lot about kapos in their memoirs. Are there any available memoirs written by kapo?
Any "must reads" I've forgotten?
