H. always said that he was arrested when attempting to cross the border illegally, that one can find this when googling with "Siegfried Halbreich," and that one can find also books written by him in which he tells his wartime experience and which can be found in libraries.
Most probably, however, "Hannover" was upset about my last paragraph, which I recall from memory:
You can, of course, believe that Halbreich was arrested for another reason, at another time, or at another place. But then the burden of proof falls upon you.
